NATIONAL TELEVISION AWARDS

We were tasked with helping Amy Dowden dress to impress. This time for the NTA’s hosted at the o2.

Extremely happy with our decision to go with a plunging and sculpted sweet heart neckline with subtle metallic details and fastenings. All concealed hand stitching in the neckline.

With Amy’s current Strictly tour schedule we managed to make this dress with absolutely NO fittings whatsoever. -hows that for a 'tailored fit.

A hugely successful night for all with Strictly picking up a NTA for best talent show.

From dance floors to red carpets

Fantastic results for our Juvenile Ambassadors.

Studio Armells first ever Juvenile brand ambassadors have become the Ballroom and Latin Juvenile All Girl Champions of Tomorrow! 

Ruby and Skye have made us proud on and off the floor with their fantastic results over the last year. It's been such a pleasure to work with the girls and their chauffers/momagers Kate and Jenny in creating so many memorable looks during their Juvenile career together.

They have now chosen to go out on a high, ending the partnership whilst looking for boy partners. A massive thank you to Keith Moon for capturing these amazing shots of the girls in action. More photos available on his website.

The time has darted by! 

We launched at the UK closed two years ago with Ben Jones and Amy Dowden in my first two designs under the Studio Armell name. 

Although I had been designing for 6 years prior to this, there is no feeling like seeing your creation on the floor and being brought to life. That feeling has never gotten old and over these two years, so many of you have given me that moment again and again. 

We are now making dresses I could only have dreamed about -this week alone sewing on over 3000 hand cut flowers!

AMY DOWDEN - THE NEWEST STRICTLY COME DANCING PRO

YES! amazing news for our very own Amy Dowden who has joined the lineup of professional dancers on BBCs Strictly Come Dancing Joining our other sponsor couple Chloe Hewitt and AJ Pritchard who are making their return to the show for the second year. We'll be glued to our television every weekend!

Studio Armell Junior Ambassadors: Jamie Meah and Mia Mazzitelli

We are thrilled to announce that Jamie and Mia will be representing Studio Armell as Junior Ambassadors.

Jamie and Mia started dancing together in January 2016. At only 13 years old they are currently the DPA 2017 league under 14 champions in both Ballroom and Latin, and the only under 14 couple to finish in the top 6 of the Junior under 16 super league in both Ballroom and Latin.

Their greatest achievements to date include:
-Under 14 Ballroom (2 dance) champions at the UK closed 2016
-Under 16 Ballroom finalist (placed 4th) the UK closed 2016
-Winners of champions of tomorrow 2017 Under 14's in Both Ballroom and Latin.

We are proud to grow Studio Armell once more and be represented by such dedicated dancers, bringing our designs to life. Look out for Mia debuting new ballroom and Latin looks, as well as Jamie's new latin shirt, hitting the Blackpool floor this weekend.

Studio Armell: Juvenile Ambassadors

Kicking the year off with the announcement that we will be represented by Skye Markey and Ruby Colwell as ambassadors for Studio Armell in the Juvenile division!

Their current titles; 2nd at Stars of The Future ballroom, 2nd at the Welsh National Championships in ballroom.

This weekend the girls have proved that those hours of practice in the studio have paid off making the finals of the juvenile all girls ballroom and quarter finals of the latin. 

These dedicated dancers are a pleasure to work with, bringing infectious energy to fittings along with fresh ideas for their next designs. Keep your eyes peeled for the girls and that Studio Armell label on  dance floor near you.

British National Championships Roundup.

I am extremely humbled that so many outfits were commissioned for this weekends British National Championships.

Seeing the label on the floor after only 18 months since the official launch is something that fills me with pride. On top of this seeing 'Studio Armell' on the new British Amateur Champions BEN JONES & AMY DOWDEN is a further highlight.

New dresses hitting the floor in Bournemouth for the UK Closed!

This time last year we sent our very own Amy Dowden and Ben Jones onto the floor in a debut Studio Armell look, and we are beyond honoured to be sending out so many new looks to this floor just twelve months later.

We're now prepping for our next venture, an online shop and new designs for November Blackpool! 

BLACKPOOL!

A massive THANK YOU to everyone that stopped by the Studio Armell stand for our first Blackpool exhibit. We were overwhelmed by the response to both our  (soldout!) practice wear range and competitive ballroom and latin dresses. We are now back in the studio altering dresses to be shipped as far as Singapore and taking pre orders for the next run of our practice wear collection.

Blackpool Dance Festival Exhibition 2016

STUDIO ARMELL are  pleased to announce that we will be exhibiting at this years Blackpool Dance Festival .      

 We can be found  at stand 19 inside the horse shoe at the Winter Gardens. We have some beautiful new additions to our latin and ballroom dresses, amazing offers on our ex sponsor dresses and by popular demand our practice wear will also be available!

UK Open

We are back to the studio after returning from our biggest exhibition to date. Such a pleasure meeting so many new faces, as well as seeing existing Studio Armell clients take to the floor in our creations. 

We hope you had as much fun as we did! We are looking forward to our first round of fittings with new clients in the upcoming weeks as we prepare for Blackpool's May event.
